What is child dedication? To start with, it’s a celebration … a time to remember that kids are a gift from God!

The Baby/Child Dedication ceremony is an opportunity to commit to raising your child in a Christ-centered home and to prioritize faith in the developmental and spiritual journey of your child. Dedication does not impart salvation to a child; it is a joyful public expression of faith and commitment on the part of the parents. It is also the parents’ pledge to do all they can, as God gives them wisdom, to raise their child to respect and honor God, and to love and serve Jesus Christ.
